Transition Your Career to Nursing

Elmhurst University's online Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) and Master’s Entry in Nursing Practice (MENP) programs were designed for students who wish to transition their career to the nursing profession. Building on the knowledge you gained in your bachelor's degree in a non-nursing discipline, these accelerated programs will give you the nursing foundation and preparation to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and become a nurse.

Our ABSN program will prepare you for a new role providing direct patient care as an RN. Through our online MENP program—the first of its kind in Illinois—you'll earn your Master of Science in Nursing degree and graduate with the skills of a clinical nurse leader.

The online nursing programs programs are currently designed for individuals who reside in or can relocate to Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin.
